Photography is a place where I forget the rest of the world and there is just my camera and whatever I am photographing.

I decided early on that Nature and Wildlife were the subjects that interested me most. I have travelled to some fairly exotic places to capture them. I find wildlife photography challenging, and while subject knowledge and patience are important, the connection between the photographer and his / her subject is more so.

I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity over the years to learn how to improve my  photography. This is a continuing process of learning. There is always something new to learn, something new to experience, some new area to explore, some new challenge to overcome.
